Planet Fitness Membership Price List 2025

Planet Fitness has two membership levels: the Classic Membership and the PF Black Card®. The Classic Membership is $10 a month and gets you unlimited access to your home club, free fitness training with a certified trainer, and use of any Planet Fitness in America or Puerto Rico. You have unlimited use of all cardio and strength equipment, but if you want more amenities (like tanning or massage chairs), there are other clubs that offer more for an increased monthly rate. The PF Black Card® is $19.99 per month (honestly still super reasonable) and gives you access to everything the classic membership does, plus unlimited guest privileges at any location, as well as refreshments.

Both levels of membership come with free fitness training. These sessions are done in small groups with a trainer and are designed to help familiarize you with the equipment and to build an individual program that meets your goals. Both memberships also provide you access to use their mobile app, which gives you access to many on-the-go workout ideas for every activity level. 1. How old do I have to be to get a Planet Fitness membership?

You must be at least 13 years old to join Planet Fitness. Members aged 13 need to have parent/guardian permission. The parent/guardian must be the member’s sponsor and must be present during workouts. Members aged 15-17 need a parent/guardian-signed waiver, but the parent does not need to be present during workouts. 2. Does Planet Fitness have classes or personal training?
Yes, Planet Fitness does have free fitness training. It is done in a small group setting with a trainer. These are classes available to all members on a first-come, first-served basis. Also, the PF app has different workout routines at different levels. ​

3. How do I cancel my membership?

Cancellation policies vary by location, so it's best to review your Membership Agreement for more information. In general, you may cancel your membership by stopping by your nearest club in person or mailing a certified letter with return receipt to the club addressed ATTN: Cancel Department. If you are within the terms of your agreement, you might be able to cancel online on the gym locator page if that is an option offered for signing up at your specific location. Current members should contact their home club directly for accurate and detailed instruction on how to cancel.
